Anabella Alfonzo,* in her role of Art Curator at Providence Health Care (PHC), is leading a series of public art commissions for the Chapel at the new St. Paul’s Hospital, including stained glass and mosaic artworks integrated into the architectural design.

The work includes developing and leading artist selection processes, and supporting artists, fabricators, and the project team through design development, production, and installation.

The program includes eight arched stained glass windows awarded to one artist, two monumental stained glass vestibule windows awarded to another artist, and a large-scale floor mosaic artwork within the Chapel awarded to a third artist.

Together, these works will contribute to a welcoming and contemplative environment supporting the Chapel’s role as a space for reflection, spirituality, and gathering.
