The Aartplace team has been engaged to provide Public Art Consulting for the Kelowna Airport Terminal Building (ATB) Expansion.

Designed by Office of McFarlane Biggar Architects & Designers (omb), the expansion is part of the Airport Master Plan completed in 2016, with the first two phases aiming to open in the next two years.

The YLW Public Art Program, developed by Aartplace, comprises an intentionally curated collection of public artworks—including permanent, semi-permanent, rotational exhibitions, and public art programming—guided by a curatorial vision that aligns with the vision and goals of Kelowna Airport (YLW) and the City of Kelowna.
